WONDER COFFEE

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Haven’t seen a coffee shop that tops this one’s interiors.

Think a Haruki Murakami novel only the main character actually chooses to have some coffee in a coffee shop instead of tea inside his own apartment. I might have fallen in love a little too much with this coffee place.

The area this coffee shop is located is a little bit out of the way for us, aka unfamiliar for we usually navigate through Ratchaprarop to Siam and towards north. But since I’m really determined to visit this picturesque place which I saw on a blog about Thailand, I braced my skin for the heat and getting-lost adventure it entailed. In the process, I realized I’m not as bad with directions and maps as I thought I was.

Thank you to my friends who joined me in taking in the beauty of this place. Outside isn’t much of a view but going inside feels like walking towards the closet to Narnia.

This particular Rocket Coffee Bar is located at Sukhumvit Soi 49. To go there, just take the BTS going to Thong Lo (that’s what we did anyway) and walked the beautiful residential area of Sukhumvit. If you’re too lazy to walk 10 minutes, you could take a tuk-tuk or taxi which will cost you THB40. :)

Disclaimer: This isn’t a sponsored post for Rocket. I saw their place at a blog before going to Thailand and instantly fell in love!

This place is heaven! I really love your photographs by the way. I haven’t really roamed around Bangkok except for malls and I wish I spotted this place

It is! Thank you, Alissa. :-) Funny cause we also spent a lot of time inside malls because of the heat and the cheap quality clothes! I actually just stumbled upon this coffee shop in a blog I found while pre-trip researching and it was worth it, a little out of the way though (Sukhumvit area). Glad you liked the photos and Rocket!
