Not everyday is rainbows and unicorns. Good thing we have music for the pain.
Sad days are idiosyncratic. They make our hearts quench for something unattainable, they make us feel hopeless and useless. It’s an everyday battle where you have to fight off your demons harder than yesterday and sometimes, or maybe most of the time, our strength isn’t just enough.
But an important aspect of coming out of sadness and darkness is the ability to shake hands with the soul-eating melancholy. We’re supposed to get to know them a little better, to make peace with the demons inside us. They’re a part of us, they make us who we are despite the emptiness they bring.
It’s okay to build a home inside the abyss. You’ll be alright. It’s not the time to die, you have a lot more places to see and people to meet. Before you come out of the storm as a different person, you must endure. We must dwell in all the rollercoaster of emotions and only then would we be confident to say that we’ve conquered our own selves.

Whatever you’re going through, always remember everything would pass by – in a glimpse or in a seemingly thousand years. You just have to be patient and kind to yourself.
