A QUICK BOHOL ESCAPE

Location: Bohol, Philippines

How can something this beautiful be so underrated?

WATCH IT IN HD! :)

I didn’t expect a lot from our work travel to Bohol simply because I haven’t researched enough of the place. I just Googled and found a government-run website and looked for places we could possibly visit. Boy, do low expectations blow minds! I deeply enjoyed this trip and it was fun we didn’t visit a beach this time, lol. And we didn’t spend heaps of money on a guided tour. I think the adventure begins once you interact with and act like a local.

Taking a video of ourselves riding the motorbike was scary because I was holding up our big DSLR camera (I forgot to ask my brother for his SJcam), praying all the while it won’t fall from my hands, the ride was pretty much fast!

I hope you guys enjoy this vlog as much as I enjoyed the trip and editing it. I was editing while waiting for our plane (Bohol-Manila) and it was uncannily delayed considering we flew with PAL (Philippine Airlines). But I am grateful cause I got to finish this off. Well, almost. I finished the whole thing on the van in Manila.

I apologize for the amateur video and editing because this is my first time doing this! Eep. Enjoy The Maine’s Diet Soda Society track though! :-)

‘Til my next shenanigan!

[…] Having low expectations can bring you significant amounts of happy feelings once you really get there. I expected the man-made forest to be just… a typical forest somewhere down below. But then the driver of our habal-habal told us to be careful of the cars, trucks and buses that’s when I realized we were already in the man-made forest! It was the coolest and calming place ever. I wanted to bring my duyan to the place and read a book while I enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. Add the chilly but decent weather and I’d stay there forever. It’s like the setting of Twilight, now that I think about and look at it more. If you want to see how magical and long this was, check out my Bohol vlog! […]
